DAYCARE & DAY CAMP
DAYCARE
Like all of us, dogs are individuals. Some dogs like to roughhouse or play a good game of catch me if you can with their canine buddies. Some dogs are a little bit shy and prefer one on one time with a person or a smaller group of dog pals. Some dogs need more structure and formal training throughout the day to work their minds just as much as their bodies. We boast being able to provide your dog with a customized daycare program to meet his or her personal needs.
Through our Try-Out process we will get to know your dog, and can evaluate exactly what style of daycare fits their individual needs. Please email us at info@barkinglotwny.com to set up a Daycare Try-Out! You can also register within our client portal HERE.
In order to ensure that all of the dogs have a chance to settle into the play group around the same time we would ask that dogs be dropped off no later than 9:30am. Pickup generally begins around 3:30, but early pickup is not an issue to accommodate.

BARKING PASSES
Barking Passes are your dog's ticket to the best Barks and Recreation available! Our daycare program has been carefully designed to not only give your dog the chance to safely socialize with other pooches while he/she is also given the structure and supervision that can only be provided by professional dog trainers and care takers. Emphasis is put on appropriate canine interaction, playtime as well as rest time and seasonal activities such as water play are all provided in a safe, secure and comfortable facility. Dog Daycare should be a continuation of your training efforts at home! We treat your dogs like our own, if we wouldn’t want our “kids” doing something naughty, we won’t let your dog do it either.
DAY CAMP
Our Day Camp Program gives your dog the opportunity to work and play one on one with our educated and experienced trainers. Our activities are designed to give your dog the perfect balance of mental stimulation and physical exercise that they need. Our Day Camp is available in the same pass structure as daycare, single 5, 10 and 20 visit passes. Day Camp can also be added to a regular Barking Pass Day of daycare for our established Daycare clients.

Day camp differs from traditional dog daycare in that it’s a smaller (limited daily availability) group setting that focuses on structured play and not just “frat party” play. Day Camp kids will be introduced and rotated through the following activities during their camp days. Please note not all activities will be performed every time the dog attends camp. Leash walking, wait at doors/thresholds, confidence building, exposures, field trips off property to pet stores, local parks and pet friendly businesses. Treadmill Training (on a case by case basis)
